• "Generation Shift" can be used to trigger the Manticore of Darkness loop.

• Generation Shift will work extremely well with Crystal Beast, because it says 'destroy' not 'Tribute', and so moves your chosen Crystal Beast to the back row, and gives you another.

• This card works well with "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys". Destroy "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys" to bring out another "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys". During your next standby phase the destroyed "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys" will return to the field, activating its effect.

• Use this card with "Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes" and "Rise of the Snake Deity" to Summon "Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes".

• This card works well with "Harpies".
