- Combo with "All-Out Attacks" and/or "Final Attack Orders", so that the monster that was taken from your opponent can immediately attack.
- "Rescue Cat" can be used to bring out a Level 3 Tuner monster like "X-Saber Airbellum" and a Level 3 non-Tuner Beast-Type to get this card out easily without losing any advantage.
- Use "Battle Mania" to possibly take control of all monsters your opponent controls.
- If necessary, use cards that decrease the ATK of your opponent's monsters.
- This card's effect is useful for setting up another Synchro or Xyz Summon, depending on the Level of your opponent's monster.
- Use "Creature Swap" or "Mystic Box" to give your opponent a searcher monster, so when this card destroys it, another monster can be brought out, along with your destroyed searcher.
- Use this card in "Yang Zing" Decks to grant this card additional effects, by using the below Synchro Materials.
- "Chiwen, Light of the Yang Zing" + "Bixi, Water of the Yang Zing" + "Bi'an, Earth of the Yang Zing" = (cannot be destroyed by battle and unaffected by Trap effects)
- "Chiwen" + "Suanni, Fire of the Yang Zing" + "Pulao, Wind of the Yang Zing" = (3300 ATK/2500 DEF and unaffected by Spell effects)
- By using "Mischief of the Yokai", it's possible to Summon this card using all of the above mentioned "Yang Zing" monsters.
- Use this card in a "Noble Knight" Deck to equip it with "Noble Arms" Equip Spell Cards.
- Control at least 2 Level 5 "Noble Knight" monsters and use the effect of "Lady of the Lake" on one of them, using the remaining "Noble Knight" monster to Synchro Summon this card.
- Combine this card with "Zombie World" and "Trap of the Imperial Tomb" to have it be very well used in an Zombie Deck. Throw in "Soul-Absorbing Bone Tower", then use the aforementioned "Battle Mania" strategy to seriously thin out an opponent's Deck.
- Use this card in a "Naturia" Deck so that way, during your Main Phase 2 after an opponent's EARTH-Attribute monster is destroyed, it can be Special Summoned to your side and easily Synchro Summon for "Naturia Barkion", "Naturia Beast" or "Naturia Leodrake".
- Use this card in an "Elemental HERO" Deck to take and use your opponent's monsters to Fusion Summon monsters like "Elemental HERO The Shining" and "Elemental HERO Absolute Zero".
