- This card can be searched by "Arsenal Summoner", "Celestial Knightlord Parshath", "Victorica, Angel of Bravery", "Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Dragon", "Link Party", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "Whirlwind Prodigy", "Serenade the Melodious Diva" and "The First Monarch".
- This card can be easily Special Summoned using "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen".
- Use "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen" to Special Summon "Athena" and follow with "Guardian Eatos" to deal 600 damage your opponent's Life Points in first turn.
- To get the maximum out of "Guardian Eatos", keep your GY empty at all times. There are many options that can help achieve this:
- First of all, this card is perfect to summon on your first turn, as it is unlikely that you would have any monsters in your Graveyard.
- Play "Guardian Eatos" in a deck with cards like "Macro Cosmos" or "Dimensional Fissure", or in arche typal decks like Madolche or Gladiator Beast.
- Use cards that can empty your own Graveyard like "Soul Release", "Bazoo the Soul-Eater", "Necro Gardna" or "Shield Warrior".
- You can use this card in a Warrior deck with "Divine Sword - Phoenix Blade" to empty your graveyard, allowing the Special Summon of "Eatos" while giving your Warriors a boost.
- You can use "Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord's" Summoning requirement to make sure this card can be Summoned by its own effect.
- Use "Stardust Shimmer" with generic Dragon-type Synchro monsters to banish monsters in your Graveyard in order to Special Summon both this card and a powerful Synchro Monster.
- Theoretically, it is possible to achieve an easy OTK with "Eatos". By having three copies in your hand at the start of the game, you can Special Summon all three copies without any further cost, putting 7500 ATK on the board. The missing damage can be arranged by using your still available Normal Summon or by equipping an "Eatos" with an Equip Spell.
- "Eatos" can be played in an otherwise pure DARK deck. "Dark Armed Dragon" clears the GY to summon "Eatos" while being a powerful board clear himself, by summoning "Prometheus, King of the Shadows" and activating his effect, you can banish all DARK monsters in your graveyard, again allowing for "Eatos" to be Special Summoned.
- This card has high synergy in "Dark Simorgh" Decks you can banish extra copies of "Eatos" in your graveyard for its effect and to set up for an "Eatos" summon.
- If you have "Guardian Dreadscythe" in your hand, use "Celestial Transformation" during your opponent's turn to summon "Dreadscythe" during their end phase.
- Cards like "Hidden Armory", "Armory Call", "Noble Knight's Spearholder", "Tool Box", "Infernoble Knight - Roland", "Gearbreed", and "Power Tool Dragon" can easily add Equip Spell Cards to use with "Eatos", though each is risky in that doing so often will leave you with a monster in the Graveyard.
