Card Tips:Herald of Perfection
- This card can be searched via "Preparation of Rites", "Senju of the Thousand Hands" and "Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands".
- Use "Beckoning Light" to ensure a Fairy-filled hand, allowing for multiple negations. "Beckoning Light" also allows for the retrieval of Honest, which is essential for this card - its low ATK means it can easily be destroyed by cards like "Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn" and "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast". Keep it in Defense Position when you can, just in case.
- Combo this card with "Athena" for a Aggro-Burn strategy. Use this card's effect to negate card effects, and use "Athena" to Special Summon the Monsters that you discard. Try to use this card's effect to discard powerful ones.
- Discard "Honest" for either this card's or its own effect, use "Athena" to revive it, then use "Honest's" effect to return it to your hand.
- To help complete the lockdown, use "Djinn Releaser of Rituals" to prevent Special Summons and "Honest" to prevent attacks. With this card's powerful effect you can perform a near-perfect lock on your opponent, barring counter traps.
- "Djinn Curse Enchanter of Rituals" will also prevent your opponent from utilizing the effects of cards like "Stardust Dragon" against this card.
- Equip this card with "Mist Body" or "Ritual Weapon", so it can stay longer on the field.
- Ritual Summon this Monster in Defense Position and use "Ritual Weapon" to have a 4300 DEF wall that Negates all forms of card effect, so long as you keep your hand stocked with Fairies.
- At 2800 DEF, this card can serve as a near-insurmountable wall against your opponent's forces. Your opponent will have difficulty getting past that, especially if "Djinn Releaser of Rituals" is forcing them to stick with Normal Summons and this card's own effect negates any efforts to boost their monsters' ATK.
- By using a powerful Fairy-type monster to fuel this card's effect such as "Splendid Venus", and then bringing it back with Special Summon effects, you can leave this card as a defender while still having high-ATK monsters available. "Venus'" ATK-reducing effect will also make getting over this card's DEF even more difficult for your opponent.
- Use "Tethys, Goddess of Light" to draw extra fodder for this card.
- You can use "Mudora" as a low level beatstick to make up for the amount of Fairy monsters you discard.
- Use "Seven Tools of the Bandit" or "Counter Counter" to stop your opponent from using "Spell Speed 3" cards to stop this card. Better yet, use "Djinn Disserere of Rituals", which will make them ineffective against "Herald of Perfection".
