- Two of the most powerful Level 5 Fusion monsters in the game - Dark Balter the Terrible and Fiend Skull Dragon - can't be summoned with Instant Fusion. However, Ojama Knight and Reaper on the Nightmare can be. So, you can use Instant Fusion to bring out Ojama Knight or Reaper on the Nightmare, Tribute them to activate Metamorphosis and bring out Dark Balter the Terrible or Fiend Skull Dragon, then use a revival card to Summon Ojama Knight or Reaper on the Nightmare from your Graveyard to have two powerful Fusion monsters ready to go in one turn.
- You can Tribute the Fusion Monster for a Tribute Summon or a card's effect.
- Use Instant Fusion to special summon a fusion monster used as a tribute fodder for Great Maju Garzett this way it'll gain double ATK power.
- The most powerful monster you can summon with this card, Man-Eating Black Shark, has 2100 ATK, which would give you a 4200-ATK Great Maju Garzett.
- To summon "Dark Flare Knight" quicker, use "Instant Fusion" to summon "Flame Swordsman". Then use "Polymerization" or "Super Polymerization" to summon Dark Flare Knight.
- This card can be used to easily summon "Elemental Hero Mariner" and "Elemental Hero Steam Healer".
- This card can be used to easily summon a high level non-Tuner monster for a Synchro Summon.
- This card is also a viable substitute for "Tribute" fodder staples, like "Destiny Hero - Malicious" or "Spell Striker".
