Yes, the monster will not be destroyed. This is similar to Ritual Foregone:

If the Ritual Monster Fusion Monster Special Summoned by "Ritual Foregone" Instant Fusion is flipped face-down or is removed from play (even temporarily), the effects of "Ritual Foregone" Instant Fusion are not applied. So the monster can attack this turn, and is not destroyed at the end of this turn. Falzar FZ 10:34, February 2, 2010 (UTC)

I dunno how to edit that part of the tips, but in the list of monsters Instant Fusion can summon, get rid of Fiend Skull Dragon, Doom Virus Dragon, Dark Balter the Terrible, Elemental Hero Clay Guardian, Fossil Warrior Skullpawn, and the Neo-Spacian monsters, because they are ineligible for summoning via Instant Fusion; Instant Fusion is treated as a Fusion Summon, so it can't bring out Clay Guardian, Doom Virus Dragon, or the Neo-Spacian monsters, since they require something completely different to be summoned (Metamorphosis for Clay Guardian, NEX for the Neo-Spacians, and pseudo-Contact Fusion for Doom Virus Dragon), while Dark Balter and Fiend Skull Dragon can only be Fusion Summoned by fusing their Fusion Materials together, which Instant Fusion doesn't do (Skullpawn needs a specific Fusion card and to be Fusion Summoned with its Fusion Materials, so it's flat-out barred). 66.228.109.2 23:29, February 26, 2010 (UTC)
