- This can can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "Flame Ruler" and "The First Monarch".
- An alternate way of getting "Jurrac Tyrannus" out is to Special Summon "Gilasaurus", Tribute it for "Big Evolution Pill", and Normal Summon this card, though Gilasaurus'" effect can be a double-edged sword in this case.
Traditional Format
- This card can be searched by "Witch of the Black Forest".
- Use "Ronintoadin" along with "Substitoad" and activate "DNA Surgery" in a "Frog" deck to increase this card's attack by 500 x the number of "Frog" monsters in the Deck.
- "Black Ptera" may be used as a Tribute repeatedly, as it returns to the owner's Hand after fueling "Jurrac Tyrannus's" effect. Combined with "Ultimate Offering", this can be done many times per turn.
