- This card can be searched via "Sangan", "Last Will", "Witch of the Black Forest", "Mystic Tomato" and "The Flute of Summoning Kuriboh".
- This card and its counterpart, "Winged Kuriboh", work well in a Sky Scourge deck.
- Keep in mind that if you discard Kuriboh when an opposing monster attacks multiple times, the battle damage for all of those attacks become 0.
- By Discarding Kuriboh with Astral Barrier, you have your monster and Life Points protected from an attack.
