- This card is useful against a plethora of commonly used cards like "Effect Veiler", "Maxx "C"", "Honest", "Blackwing - Kalut the Moon Shadow", "Battle Fader" and "Swift Scarecrow".
- Side this card against Mermail decks, to prevent them using the effect of their boss monsters, which discards cards from the hand to Special Summon themselves.
