- You can easily run this card in a Dinomist deck taking advantage of Dinomist Howling's effect or else you can use this card to protect any of your Dinomist monsters.
- Amorphage decks can make heavy use of this. High level monsters can be placed in the pendulum zone, then summoned by this as most of their levels fall outside the scales the deck provides or you can simply use it to switch around the pendulum scales (and by extent what floodgate effect) is active
