This card can be used with [[Magical Merchant]] in order to place cards and monsters in the [[Graveyard]] easier. That said, Pot of Avarice isn't suited for every [[Deck]], and indeed, would be very counter-productive in some decks. This card can be used with Magical Merchant in order to place cards and monsters in the Graveyard easier. That said, Pot of Avarice isn't suited for every Deck, and indeed, would be very counter-productive in some decks. LV Decks that use Level Modulation to a mid-to-large scale would suffer, as would Chaos Decks, since removing Light Monsters and Dark Monsters removes the ability to Special Summon Chaos Sorcerer.
