- This card works with monsters that can attack twice like "Arcana Force EX - The Dark Ruler", "Cyber Twin Dragon" or "Tyrant Dragon".
- Equip this card to "Chimeratech Overdragon" or a very powerful "Montage Dragon" to create an OTK situation, or Satellite Cannon for a 9-turn kill.
- "Chimeratech Overdragon" can only attack multiple monsters, not attack directly multiple times. Try using "Power Tool Dragon" instead, with its own protection ability to compensate for the attack reduction when you attack your opponent's life points directly. You can also use "Great Maju Garzett" with a strong monster for its tribute summon, or a large monster that you used "Megamorph" with.
- This card works well with cards that stall like Gravity Bind and Level Limit - Area B.
- Use this card to monsters that activate their effects when they inflict damage to your opponent's Life Points such as "Vampire Lord", "Don Zaloog", etc.
- Combine this card with "United We Stand" and "Scapegoat". This will instead give the target monster a 3000 attack boost, in addition to this card's effect. This can form an OTK if equipped to "Armed Samurai - Ben Kei".
- If you equip this card to an opponent's monster you can decrease its ATK by 1000, making it an easy kill.
- When you equip this to a monster, chain it with "Reverse Trap" and you gain 1000 ATK and can attack directly for 1 turn.
- Equip a monster with at least 2500 ATK with this card and Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce. Then activate Reverse Trap and attack twice for a potential OTK.
- After attacking directly, use "Equip Shot" on your opponent's monster and conduct another battle.
- This card works well with most of the "Dark Scorpions".
- Equip this card to Silent Swordsman LV5 and allow it to attack your opponent directly in order to Special Summon Silent Swordsman LV7.
- This card is useful in decks with Guardian Eatos.
- Combo this card with Heart of Clear Water to possibly protect the monster you equip if their attack lowers to at least 1200.
- This card is a combo with Vampire Lord and Vampire Lady.
- The ideal monster for this card's negative effect is "Amazoness Swords Woman", since the damage is done to the opponent.
