  • Combine this card with Secret Village of the Spellcasters. Since it is a Spellcaster, your opponent wont be able to activate any spell cards, and once it has five spell counters on it, it will have ATK equal to Silent Magician LV8, only you won't have to hassle with the summoning requirements (especially if its LV 8 form is in the graveyard or removed from play).
  • This card works great with "Defender, the Magical Knight" as the spell counters on it will supply it plenty to use it defense effect and when your opponent draws a new card it will regain spell counters.
  • This card works well with Tempest Magician as it can add most of the counters instantly, or if it has five spell counters on it already you can deal your opponent an instant 2500 life point damage then replenish them.
  • Use Honest if your opponent attacks this card card with a powerful monster.
  • This card is useful in a Deck that abuses the effect of Greed. Allow your opponent to draw outside of the Draw Phase (see above); not only will you damage your opponent at the end of your turn, you will also load this card with counters and increase its ATK. Level Modulation can also be used to recover this card (or its more powerful form) from the Graveyard.
  • Equipping this card with Unstable Evolution is incredibly practical, as when your life points are lower it will gain and additional 1400 attack points (for a max of 4900 attack with 5 counters), but if your life points are higher, Silent Magician's original attack simply goes back to normal.
    • When you're life points are higher, use Equip Shot to lower an opponent's powerful monster to 1000 attack and force it to battle your more powerful Silent Magician.
