- Set this card, then use it to place a Worm Victory on top of your deck, guaranteeing that you have a copy in hand for use with Worm Call on your next turn.
- There are many targets of note for this card to be able to help you retrieve; "Magician of Faith", "Mask of Darkness", "Slate Warrior", "Rigorous Reaver", "Penguin Soldier" and many more.
- Works with Shaddoll flip effect monsters.

Traditional Format[edit]
- Good targets for this card are "Morphing Jar", "Morphing Jar #2", and "Cyber Jar". After placing either "Morphing Jar" or "Cyber Jar" on top of your Deck with this card, activate "Card of Demise" so that you will draw that Monster, and then Set it. Once their Flip effects activate, new cards will be added to your hand, making up for "Card of Demise's" hand-emptying effect.
