- By using "Gravity Bind", "Level Limit - Area B" and "Messenger of Peace" you can protect this card whilst utilizing its effect with efficiency.
- This monster works great if combined with "Fire Princess". Although her effect works only in one lump sum, you get to recover LPs depending on the monsters you possess and shall be rewarded by damaging your opponent.
- Together with "Ebon Magician Curran" you can deal damage to your opponent whilst healing yourself.
- Using "Wall of Revealing Light" together with the effect of this card can render your opponent's useless.
- If used in conjunction with two "Magician's Valkyrias" or "Raregold Armors" you can do a "Marauding Captain" lock, but only with Spellcaster-type monsters. Meaning that your weak "Pikeru" will be able to gain lifepoints without fear of being destroyed.
- In order to Summon "Princess Pikeru", you can use "Creature Swap" and swap "Marie the Fallen One" or "Insect Princess" while "Pikeru" has "Trial of the Princesses" equipped, then destroy "Insect Princess" or "Marie The Fallen One" to Special Summon "Princess Pikeru" from your Deck by "Trial of the Princesses'" effect.
