- This card is one of only two to have been Forbidden and later removed entirely from the Restriction List. The other is another Spellcaster, Injection Fairy Lily.
- "Breaker the Magical Warrior" appears in the artwork of "Spell Vanishing", "Defense Seal Wall" and "Prideful Roar".
- This card has gained its own term. To "break" a Spell or Trap Card is to destroy a card with this cards effect.
- The Spell Counter symbol is show in multiple areas of this cards artwork. It can be seen in the background and on the orb's on Breaker's armor. Strangely, there are six spell counters in this card's art and yet the card's effect only allows one spell counter at a time to be placed on this card.
- This card has a defensive counterpart, known as Defender, the Magical Knight.
- This card has two effect counterparts, Explosive Magician and Arcanite Magician.
