- "Poseidra, the Atlantean Dragon", "Atlantean Dragoons", and the shadows of multiple "Atlanteans" appear in this card's artwork.
- Ironically, "Atlantean Dragoons" cannot be Special Summoned by this card's effect. This can be justified by them being depicted leading (together with "Poseidra", which can't be summoned as well) the "Atlanteans" rather than being part of the army.
- This card's Japanese name, "Roar of the Sea Emperor", is based on the name of the Japanese Structure Deck it was released in: Structure Deck: Roar of the Sea Emperor.
