- The reason why this card was Forbidden is because it does not have a Cost, whereas the Limited "Brain Control" has an 800 Life Point cost and required a face-up monster in order to take control.
- There is also an Alien version called "Brainwashing Beam"
- Mind Control act almost same to this card, but the only downfall is that the possession monster cannot attack or be tributed instead.
