- "Dragon Ice" was 1 of 3 cards designed by fans, in a contest held by Upper Deck Entertainment and 4Kids, that were made as real cards. The other 2 cards were "Tongue Twister" and "Skreech".
- A common misprint of this card replaces the card's title with that of "Super Vehicroid - Stealth Union".
- This card's appearance resembles Alastor, Boss from PC game Painkiller, but it's colored red instead of blue.
- The way this card's effect is worded hints at a whole archetype of 'Dragon Ice' monsters. Oddly enough, this is the only 'Dragon Ice' monster to date.
