- This monster, as well as Elemental Hero Neos and Neo Space Pathfinder most likely derives from the Tokusatsu Ultraman genre, or possibly Guyver.
- "Alius" is Latin for "another".
- Elemental Hero Captain Gold and Elemental Hero Neos Alius are the only Elemental Heroes who haven't made an appearance in either the Anime or the Manga.
- This is the only Elemental Hero monster that is also a Gemini Monster.
- This is one of the 9 Elemental Heros that is not have a Fusion Monster that require him as a Fusion Material Monster. the other eight are: "Elemental Hero Voltic", "Elemental Hero Ice Edge", "Elemental Hero Knospe", "Elemental Hero Captain Gold", "Elemental Hero Poison Rose", "Elemental Hero Prisma", "Elemental Hero Stratos" and "Elemental Hero Flash".
- However, he can be substituted for "Elemental Hero Neos" in Contact Fusion or Neos Wiseman's effect to special summon from owner's hand.
