OCG Rulings
- [Regarding the effect "Target 1 Tuner or 1 Level 7 or 8 Dragon Synchro Monster in your GY; Special Summon it in Defense Position, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn after this card resolves, except Synchro Monsters."[1]
- It is the effect applied when this card's activation resolves.
- When resolving this effect, Special Summon the targeted monster. Also when resolving this effect, apply the part of the effect "you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn after this card resolves, except Synchro Monsters".
- [Regarding the effect "If "Crimson Dragon" and/or a Level 7 or 8 Dragon Synchro Monster(s) you control would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can banish this card from your GY instead."[1]
- It does not start a Chain and applies in the GY.
- If a "Crimson Dragon" or a Level 7 or 8 Dragon Synchro Monster you control would be destroyed by battle, choose whether or not to apply this effect during damage calculation, and banish this card after damage calculation.
- It can be applied even if a "Crimson Dragon" or a Level 7 or 8 Dragon Synchro Monster you control would be destroyed by a card effect during the Damage Step.
