- This is one of only three Fusion Monsters whose Level matches at least one of its Fusion Material Monsters. The others are "Thousand-Eyes Restrict" and "Dragon Master Knight". (Five-Headed Dragon can also do this by using another Five-Headed Dragon, Dragon Master Knight or Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon as Fusion Material Monsters. Additionally, this can be done with Superalloy Beast Raptinus if Phoenix Gearfried is used as material)
- Curse of Dragon and Gaia the Fierce Knight appear in this cards artwork, the latter without his horse.
- This is currently the only card to have a Secret Ultra Rare version due to a misprint in the original Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon booster set.
- This Card is similar in a way to both Dragon Master Knight and Dark Blade the Dragon Knight in that they all are fusions of a warrior-type monster and a dragon-type monster, as well as their artworks all depicting the warrior riding the dragon.
