This card's name appears to be based on Ganondorf, the main antagonist of the Legend Of Zelda video game series.

This card's name also appears to be similar to Gandalf, of The Lord of the Rings.

This card is a counterpart to Norsewemko, Beautiful Goddess of Salvation; its effect destroys monsters while Norsewemko's protects them. Also, the names of the monsters and the rituals mirror each other (Destruction versus Salvation).
