Card Rulings:Garlandolf, King of Destruction
TCG Rulings
- If "Garlandolf, King of Destruction" is not face-up on the field when its effect resolves, no monsters will be destroyed.[1]
- All other face-up monsters with DEF less than or equal to this card's ATK are destroyed, including your own.[1]
- If "Skill Drain" is later activated, "Garlandolf, King of Destruction" will lose any ATK gained from its own effect and will not regain it if "Skill Drain" is destroyed.[1]
- Destroying the monsters and increasing the ATK of "Garlandolf, King of Destruction" occur simultaneously. If "Apocatequil" is destroyed by this effect, you can activate its effect.[1]
OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Garlandolf, King of Destruction" is a mandatory Trigger Effect that is activated when it is Ritual Summoned.[2]
- Destroying monsters on the field and gaining ATK are considered to happen simultaneously.[2]
- When resolving this effect, if "Garlandolf, King of Destruction" is no longer face-up on the field, the effect is not applied. (Monsters on the field are not destroyed.)[2]
