- This card's Japanese name, "Chaos Wizard", reflects the Attributes of this card's Fusion Materials: the LIGHT "Mystical Elf" and the DARK "Curtain of the Dark Ones".
- The "Chaos" archetype, which this card belongs to due to its Japanese name, revolves primarily around LIGHT and DARK monsters.
- This is retroactively the first "Chaos" monster released in the card game. Since "Chaos" cards are supported only if they meet another condition (Ritual "Chaos" / Black Luster Soldier, Synchro "Chaos", or "C"), and this is not one of them, this card does not have an archetype condition written.
