- This is the first "HERO" monster in the OCG to include Kanji in its Japanese name. The second is "Masked HERO Koga".
- This card's effect is similar to "Elemental HERO Escuridao" and "Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman".
- This card strongly resembles Kamen Rider Agito Burning Form from the Kamen Rider Agito series, or Kamen Rider Kuuga Mighty Form (Also for his name).
- Its mask and belt shows the symbol of fire (火), hence its attribute.
- His belt symbol of fire also resembles the insignia from Kyūkyū Sentai GoGoV (aka Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue).
- This was the first Transformation monster seen in the GX manga.
- It's likely only coincidence, but this card has the same ATK, Level, and Attribute as "Goka, the Pyre of Malice" (which is worth mentioning only due to the similarity of their names).
