Card Trivia:Poseidra, the Atlantean Dragon
Revision as of 02:26, 27 April 2012 by LastMinute (talk) (moved Card Trivia:Sea Emperor Dragon Poseidra to Card Trivia:Atlantean Dragon Poseidra: per card page)
- This card's name is a portmanteau of "Poseidon", the Greek god of the sea, and a dragon/hydra.
- Even the tip of its tail has the image of Poseidon's Trident.
- This monster's appearance resembles "The Dragon Dwelling in the Deep". Also they are both WATER and Sea Serpent-Type monsters despite both having Dragon in their name.
- This monster resembles the Lagiacrus, from Monster Hunter.
- Its position, color scheme, and posture is also similar to Lagiacrus (Include the dermal spikes on its back).
- This card's effect seems be a mix between "Masked HERO Acid" and "Giant Trunade". "Giant Trunade" returns all Spell and Trap Cards on both sides of the field to the hand and the effect of "Acid" reduces the ATK of your opponent's monsters.
- It's interesting to point out that when this card uses 3 new "Sea Emperor" monsters to Summon itself, its ATK and DEF becomes equal to the total ATK and DEF of those monsters. Two offensive "Sea Emperor", both with 1400 ATK, will total to 2800, and the last one, which is defensive, has 1600 DEF.
