- Both wear a necklace with a disaster-relief-related item attached ("Cat" has a whistle, "Rabbit" has a Walkie-Talkie)
- Both monsters have similar summoning effects, but with different restrictions.
- Both monsters share the same Attribute, Type, Level, ATK, and DEF.
- Rescue Rabbit is likely intended to be the successor to Rescue Cat after it was banned.
- This card relates to "Rabidragon", "Creepy Coney", "Bunilla", and "Wind-Up Rabbit", since they're all rabbit-themed monsters released in Photon Shockwave(a running theme in the set to coincide with the Year of The Rabbit in which it was released).
