Card Trivia:Satellite Cannon
- In the anime, the original reason that "Satellite Cannon" couldn't be destroyed was because it's summoned up in space, too high for any weak monster to reach. Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" on the other hand, being incredibly strong (and Level 8), was able to fly up and destroy it.
- This was mirrored in real life by preventing this card from being destroyed by any monster that's level 7 or lower (those that are too "weak").
- "Satellite Cannon" bears a resemblance to the satellite that Sartorius tried to gain access to during his final duel with Jaden in season two of Yu-Gi-Oh! GX.
- "Satellite Cannon's" design and name may be a reference to After War Gundam X in which the "Satellite Cannon" is a weapon used by the Gundam's with the signature "X" (4 solar panels that form an X like shape) design.
- This has an anime only support card known as "Charge".
