  • This card is the only upgraded form of "Stardust Dragon" to not include the word "Star" in its name.
    • However, a quasar is a star-like phenomena that emits powerful cosmic radiation across the electromagnetic spectrum.
  • The bond of Team 5D's is also shown in this card's artwork, with 5 "Synchro Rings" behind it, each colored differently.
    • Ironically, despite how Shooting Quasar Dragon is Summoned in the anime, the rings appear to represent the 5 original Signer Dragons (not including "Black-Winged Dragon", which appear later on). From the ring furthest in the back to the one in the front, they are "Red Dragon Archfiend" (dark red), "Black Rose Dragon" (red), "Ancient Fairy Dragon" (green), "Life Stream Dragon" (yellow), and "Stardust Dragon" (white), respectively.
  • This is the only "advanced" form of Stardust Dragon that does not require "Stardust Dragon" to be summoned.
  • This card's Synchro requirements (1 Tuner Synchro Monster + 2 or more non-Tuner Synchro Monsters), and Level/ATK/DEF is the same as "T.G. Halberd Cannon".
  • This card is the only card with the effect of Special Summoning a Synchro Monster that is treated as a Synchro Summon.
  • This monster has effects that allude to each of the Signer Dragons:
    • It can attack multiple times, similar to "Shooting Star Dragon".
    • It negates other effects that can negate cards, similar to the effect of "Stardust Dragon" to negate effects that destroy.
    • It negates Effect Damage, similar to "Life Stream Dragon" and "Black-Winged Dragon".
    • It has an effect that destroys monsters, which could be a combination "Black Rose Dragon's" and "Red Dragon Archfiend's" effects.
    • It is immune to other monster effects, similar to "Red Nova Dragon's" immunity to destruction.
    • It can Special Summon another monster, attributed to "Ancient Fairy Dragon's".
  • This card's body resembles the Temporal Gods, the monsters that this card came about to encounter.
