- The three Legendary Dragons are named after Plato's Dialogues, from which we have many of our myths pertaining to the lost city of Atlantis. "Hermos" is named after Hermocrates, also known as the lost dialogue of Plato.
- "The Claw of Hermos" has the most amount of cards that result from its "fusion" with another monster being "Time Magic Hammer", "Red-Eyes Black Dragon Sword", "Rocket Hermos Cannon", "Big Bang Dragon Blow", and "Goddess Bow".
- "The Claw of Hermos" is the only one of the Legendary Dragon cards to materialize with an opponent's monster.
