OCG Rulings

  • [Regarding the text "Cannot be used as material for a Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Summon."][1]
  • It is not treated as a card effect. Even if this card’s effects are negated, it cannot be used as material for a Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Summon.
  • [Regarding the effect "Cannot be Tributed while face-up in the Monster Zone."][1]
    • It is a Continuous Effect that applies in the Monster Zone.
  • [Regarding the effect "If this card is sent to the GY as Link Material: Special Summon it to the Summoning player's opponent's field in Defense Position."][1]
    • It is a Trigger Effect that activates in the GY.
    • It is mandatory to activate if the conditions are met.
  • [Regarding the effect "If Summoned this way, while it is in the Monster Zone, you must keep your hand revealed."][1]
    • It is a Continuous Effect that applies in the Monster Zone.
