:::: i am aware it will still set off Absolute Zero and Quasar (though i kinda forgot that detail when i was writng my reply above, whoops). when i said i don't understand why, I meant in general.  though it does NOT count as "leave the field" when you are sent to deck, the article you link says so itself "From September 1, 2011 onward, when a card on the field is moved into the Main Deck, that card cannot activate its "leaves the field" effect." and says as much in the Rule book. Thanks for the explanation, it always confused me as to why sent to deck doesn't count while sent to extra deck does.

Latest revision as of 00:08, 11 December 2014

I need some help please. If i attack with this card and the other player use Mirror Force and my monster is destroyed, their monsters are destroyed too? And i want to know if Absolute Zero is Destroyed by Battle, by Card Effect or if is used as a sacrifice, its Effect works? Thanks for your help!!! -- Infinitrix (Mi discusión) 15:22, November 29, 2014 (UTC)

Well, how else do you expect this card to use that effect? --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 16:18, November 29, 2014 (UTC)
Maybe banishing him, or when he is returned to my extra deck. So that was a yes? Thanks for your answer. -- Infinitrix (Mi discusión) 17:53, November 29, 2014 (UTC)
Well thanks i think... -- Infinitrix (Mi discusión) 02:35, December 7, 2014 (UTC)
As long as it leaves in a way that counts as leaving the field (which is essentially everything except Number 101: Silent Honor ARK and being sent back into the main deck)

"Elemental HERO Absolute Zero" will also not have its effect occur if it is used for Xyz Summoning. Otherwise, yeah. Bouncing to the Main Deck and "Number 101" are good ways to remove without "leaving the field". --LordGeovanni- (Talk To Me) *Kupo* 20:19, December 7, 2014 (UTC)
I still do not understand why being sent to deck doesn't count as leaving the fieldDreadKaiser (talkcontribs) 22:04, December 7, 2014 (UTC)
It does count. If Absolute Zero is sent from field to "hand", deck, graveyard, or banished, its effect activates. Tributed, destroyed, sent, used as fusion material, any means triggers it. The only thing that doesn't is if it's used as an Xyz material or it's captured as one via the effect of 101 or C101. Even if it's turned into an equip spell by a card like Relinquished, if you destroy it with Mystical Space Typhoon, its effect activates. Jet-Black Nova (talkcontribs) 22:14, December 7, 2014 (UTC)
DreadKaiser, it does count as "Leave the field" for a card to go from the field to the Main Deck. The difference is that the card that is returned to the Deck is unable to use an effect that specifies "Leave the field" when it is in the Deck. Leave the field details this a little, but basically, how I understand it, "Leave the field" requires checking the card for the effect to be able to activate and cards in the Main Deck are unable to be checked. --LordGeovanni- (Talk To Me) *Kupo* 22:25, December 7, 2014 (UTC)
Absolute Zero is a Fusion Monster, and thus would return to the Extra Deck, where effects can, in fact, activate. Jet-Black Nova (talkcontribs) 22:57, December 7, 2014 (UTC)

Not, because her effect says returned to the Deck, not leaves the field, the effect still works. The card who started all this confusion was "Reborn Tengu", right? --Missign0 (talkcontribs) 02:42, December 9, 2014 (UTC)
