Well, Greed burns the opponent if they draw via a card effect. There are actually quite a few cards that give your opponent a card as a "cost"... what if we turned that cost into added pay-off?

Well, this deck wants the opponent to draw as many cards as possible - because in doing so, your opponent will get owned by the burn effect of Greed. It's sort of like when Nurse Reficule gives you a Gift Card, in terms of philantrophy-that-really-isn't.

The Bistro Butcher, Chainsaw Insect, and Kuraz are your primary aggressors. They will give your opponent not-so-free cards in exchange for pretty good effects/ATK values. Sasuke Samurai 3 will give your opponent obscene drawing power - it's why I included Honest, which also works with Kuraz.

Now, I really don't want my opponent to do anything with all those cards they just got. That's why I included Heavy Slump. The ability to quarter the opponent's hand is not so bad - plus, at the end of the turn the opponent takes 1000 burn damage. Also, with all those cards, Disturbance Strategy and Card Destruction become that much more awesome.

The best opening move is a set Cat of Ill Omen to get to Greed, or Sangan to get to the Cat. Those cats also search out the traps which comprise about a third of the deck, so some nice searching power there. Summoning Chainsaw Insect or setting Defender are also good moves. Also, if you have it, set Greed. That's just a good idea. You should also set Dark Bribe or Judgment of Anubis, to protect it.

Tell me what you think of this concept deck... that took 1 minute to think up. Runer5h 04:05, 10 April 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

You have what seems like a good build, just be careful with Card Destruction, Morphing Jar, and Hand Destruction, as Greed burns any player that draws from an effect, not just your opponent. Aserik 21:02, 10 April 2009 (UTC)

(slaps self) You're right! I was thinking "I'd better not put in Appropriate, or I'll get hosed," and I didn't see that! In that case, I'm replacing The Warrior Returning Alive with Barrel Behind the Door, because it can double my opponent's damage while keeping me safe, and can be searched out by the Cat. Thanks for the reminder. Runer5h 21:09, 10 April 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

What, no one else has a comment about this deck? What can I do to improve it? Runer5h 14:26, 11 April 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

Book of Eclipse might be a good card to add. It helps you reuse morphing jar and hiro's shadow scout's effect, defend from an attack, and make your opponent draw. 64.175.41.207 06:59, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

That makes sense. I just don't know what I'd take out to put Book of Eclipse in. Hmm... how about just one Bistro Butcher. Thanks for the idea. Runer5h 00:59, 13 April 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

Gift of Greed might be helpful, 1000 dmg(not including multiple greeds). Maybe a prime material and card destriction if you don't aleady have one /Massive Life Gain, massive burn. I have a deck like this too and I thought I was alone here...
