So Tron's new number has been revealed and its being numbered 69. Any thoughts about it? Like why is it 69? Knowing Japanese people, they are perverted as evidenced to some Hentais and other Anime. So maybe this is a girl which is almost nude. Thoughts? --SharkTenjo

I'm 99% sure it will be nothing like that! Yu-Gi-Oh is not peverted and besides, the name of the card is Heraldic KING, Coat of Arms. King, not Queen, so it indicates that it is male. But if you look at the other Heraldic King, it will probably not be a human, less a naked woman.--Xicokiko (talkcontribs) 10:16, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

Well it was just a speculation as they are made by Japanese. Lol you're right its male, forgot about it even on title but lol. So how is it actually Number 69? Any reason? --SharkTenjo

Um, because there are supposed to be 99 of those monsters, so they were bound to hit 69 sometime.

Dr Kain (talkcontribs) 16:52, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

You're right. They probably chose this noble theme for Number 69 to avoid the awkwardness of the whole situtation. I miss the times when 69 was just a number.--Xicokiko (talkcontribs) 17:19, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

hence the name "Coat of Arms" I bet guys it's effect going to involve in monster destrusion or magic / trap destrusion. Maybe with a cost of three monster to summon it. like 3 level 3 or 5 or 7 or some odd level monsters. --108.225.20.64 (talk) 18:29, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

I think maybe level 4 monster, since Tron's Heraldic Beasts seem to focus on summoning rank 4 monsters. Then again, there are still a lot of Tron's cards to be shown, like what happened with III, whose XYZs were all of different ranks.

I figured that, when Tron first summoned NO. 8 heraldic King; all the monsters he summoned then exceed summoned for it were all even ( 4 + 4 = 8). So when you guys think about it maybe this new numbers monster " No. 69 Heraldic king, Coat of Arms" and since the number 69 is odd, maybe the monster's levels are around 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 (maybe) or even level monsters. --108.225.20.64 (talk) 18:55, June 27, 2012 (UTC)

Yea i know that they are going to hit 69 but just asking maybe they will make it perverted. Anyway, why is its number 69? Any thoughts? --SharkTenjo
Chances are it's totally unrelated, and that the creation team just decided to roll a d100 to determine its number. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 05:31, June 29, 2012 (UTC)

I'm going to place my bets that the number is supposed to look like some sort of crest like its theme. 24.83.215.20 (talk) 21:19, July 4, 2012 (UTC)

Well, that effect was kind of underwhelming, and apparently it's Number 69: God Medallion Coat of Arms now. I'm hoping that not everything that it is capable of doing has been revealed yet, which might even be plausible because the text on the anime card's effect looks relatively long. 108.196.206.15 (talk) 21:27, July 16, 2012 (UTC) EDIT - Actually, it looks somewhat more impressive now... the effect seems to have been retranslated or reinterpreted so that it's mere presence negates the effects of all other monsters and copies them, instead of just one monster once per turn.

Well, if we know what Konami does best, it's to nerf cards so I'm guessing that it'll probably need three Heraldic level 4 monsters. Otherwise, if it's not, who needs One-Eyed Skill Gainer? Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 01:36, July 17, 2012 (UTC)

  • I think you're the perverted one if the first thing that came to your mind when you saw this card was a naked woman. It's a number. They were going to make one sooner or later.--YamiWheeler (talkcontribs) 22:46, July 18, 2012 (UTC)
    • Where did you get the idea of a naked woman? And nerf means to weaken the card's effect if that's what you are wondering. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 19:10, July 19, 2012 (UTC)
      • Actually, YamiWheeler's comment is directed at the first two comments all the way at the top of the page. Yami, it'd be best if you posted your replies directly underneath the appropriate posts. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 00:54, July 21, 2012 (UTC)

It's been made now, and I think it looks nice. The materials required are generic, and it doesn't use material to negate things. You can even use Monster Reborn on it to negate your opponent's stuff if you need to, but you probably won't have any use in the copy power if you do that due to lack of materials. 108.196.206.15 (talk) 12:34, July 19, 2012 (UTC)

This card is ok, but the fact that it negates only Xyz monsters' effects makes it kind of situational compared to other rank 4's. Genome Heriter at least reduces the attack of an Xyz monster to 0, while also being able to be used against any Xyz monster, not an Xyz monster that had its effect negated. If it could negate all monster effects, that would've been awesome, but sadly, it doesn't. Neos01 (talkcontribs) 14:18, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

Wow did not see the Xyz part, but still beats One-Eyed Skill Gainer. Fallensilence (talkcontribs) 16:22, July 20, 2012 (UTC)

how work no.69 with heroic champion excalibur effect? —This unsigned comment was made by Wojski40 (talkcontribs) 15:03, August 17, 2012‎

Number 69 can copying one Xyz Monster's Effect then using it effect as if he was that Xyz Monster. If copied Excalibur's eff, then he can detaching 2 Material to double his ATK power. --iFredCat 15:10, August 17, 2012 (UTC)

He keeps that ATK until your opponent's next End Phase (the whole effect of Excalibur.) TheGallisMan (talkcontribs) 17:23, August 17, 2012 (UTC)
