As far as alternate artworks are concerned, they should only be used on the card's page if they are easier to see, or for some reason easier to get a good scan of than the original card.  I don't know if this is the case for any cards, however, if it happens to be, then it makes sense to go with the clearest image, regardless of which artwork it is.   4. Avoid Ultimate Rares and Ghost Rares
  5. If it's an anime only card, clearest screenshot, but if a Tag Force image is available, we use that.
  6. If it's a manga only card, clearest image.

Alternate Artworks

As far as alternate artworks are concerned, they should only be used on the card's page if they are easier to see, or for some reason easier to get a good scan of than the original card. I don't know if this is the case for any cards, however, if it happens to be, then it makes sense to go with the clearest image, regardless of which artwork it is.
