The State Open Championship is an annual Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game championship held in Germany and Austria.[1]
The championship consists of sixteen tournaments, each in a different state or group of states in Germany and Austria. The winner of each is considered to be a state champion. Top participants of each state championship compete one of two final Battle of the States tournaments, to determine the national Battle of the States champion.[1]
