Ritual Summon

Can a monster be ritual summon from the deck? Dmaster (Contribs Count) 22:55, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

  • No. The ritual monster must be in your hand.
    • "require Tributes equal to the Level of the monster being Summoned, from either the field or the hand." and not the deck. Yami Michael 23:17, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

If I have a monster that can act as two tributes and is a four star monster can that said monster be used to ritual summon a level 8 Ritual monster?

Relinquished

Since Relinquished doesn't says that it "can only be ritual summoned" with it's ritual card, shouldn't it be able to be special and normal summoned (say, with mystic tomato)?.

No, because all Ritual Monsters have the same restrictions on them. You must initially summon them with a corresponding Ritual Spell Card.
