Honest to god, what a useless card, seriously, 3 monsters need to be given up for it, and all it really does is do what any other monster can, with or without the bloody effect. >_>

  • You didn't follow the Match link. -- Deltaneos 22:12, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Yeah, in tournaments, Matches are best out of three.

No-Surrender Ruling?

Someone told me it's been ruled illegal to surrender with Victory Dragon out. Is this true? --Hitaka 10:00, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

Surrendering is actually not part of the rule in Yugioh. It is in video games, but not in the card. So, the opponent can decide not to accept your forfeit. --Pizzaman 14:54, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
Oh my, didn't know that. I guess there are little differences between OCG and TCG rules. --Pizzaman 15:04, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
  • Wow can i just say that it is good this card is banned--Wonderboi 08:20, 30 July 2008 (UTC)

if you attack their lifepoints and their lifepoints were to go to 0, you win it technically what the card says. not that if you hit their wideopen life points, you automatically drain their life to 0.

question

Soo, the games are 2/3 to see who wins. If you hit them with this and reduce their life to 0, you don't have to win 2/3 and you just win (like the whole thing)?

why is this card banned? its almost exactly the same as the other "match winnng" cards ex. Meteo the Matchless, Emperer of Lightning, Ulevo. Why are they special enough to stay in the unlimited list?

  • They aren't usable at all. Read the bottom left corner of the other cards. The reason this card was banned was because it allows a player to win an entire Match (2 out of 3 duels) in just one duel.--Bluedog (Talk) 23:15, October 21, 2009 (UTC)

Why is this certain card banned?

why is this certain card banned? Uleva, Meteo the Matchless, and Queen of Fate- Eternia all have basically the same effect, but Victory dragon is for some reason the only one of them thats banned!

Ulevo, Meteo and Eternia each have a limitation text on the bottom-left corner of the card (where the Card Number should be) which reads This card cannot be used in a Duel. This makes their status Illegal which is kinda worse than Forbidden (Banned). In retrospect, I think they would have wanted to make Victory Dragon Illegal too, but since it was already released they just Banned it afterwards. -- Al-Malik ملك الألعاب 18:45, November 21, 2009 (UTC)

ACTUALLY

if u read the card it doesn't say that it reduces a player's life to 0 it say if it attacks (and) reduces the life to 0 you win the match...so technicaly it shouldn't be banned because it's saying that when it attacks and takes the remaning life points a player has you win the duel...nevermind it should be banned because you basically win all the duels(2/3) or(3/3) in its case. 71.176.49.148 20:40, March 14, 2010 (UTC) lil e

It's very clear said a match victory. And this card is only one make it to legal list, therefore the reason why it is current ban. That effect just said if you attack your opponent with Victory Dragon while your opponent's Life Points is less than dragon's ATK power current, you earn the victory for full match. --FredCat100 20:43, March 14, 2010 (UTC)

I'm confused

So, if this card is banned, how come it isn't on the wiki's Illegal card list? --Malevolence from the stars, it's {{subst:User:Novafan365/signature}}!! (talkcontribs) 01:05, November 1, 2010 (UTC)

Because it has password code, not "This card cannot be play in the Duel." unlike the rest of other Match-Victory Monster Cards. --FredCat Ta.P.F.P.J.R.W.S.Th.P.S.C. 01:08, November 1, 2010 (UTC)
