Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon (Raid Boss)

Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is a Raid Boss in Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel. This is the monster form of "Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon" when Summoned by Seto Kaiba in his appearance as a Raid Duelist during the event Mighty³! Invincible³! Greatest³!!.

The AntiBoss-Skill-CrossDuel.png Anti-Boss and ImmunityDestructionEffects-Skill-CrossDuel.png Immunity: Destruction Effects Skills are recommended for this Raid.

Mechanics[edit]

Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon does not normally have any weak points exposed. During each Boss Phase, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon will turn to face a random new lane, apply its own effects, attack directly (except on the first turn), and create any objects necessary. Then, Kaiba will Summon 1 "Vorse Raider" with ATK/DEF depending on the difficulty to the lane behind Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon, and randomly prepare one or more of the following Spells/Traps to play, if necessary:

The Spell/Traps Kaiba prepares, and how often, depends on the difficulty:

  • Easy (Levels 1-3): Kaiba will not prepare Spell/Traps at Levels 1 or 2. At Level 3, Kaiba will prepare a Spell/Trap every other turn, starting on the second turn.
  • Medium (Levels 4-6): Kaiba will prepare a Spell/Trap every other turn, starting on the first turn.
  • Hard (Levels 7-9): Kaiba will prepare a Spell/Trap every turn.
  • Expert (Levels 10-12): Kaiba will prepare 1 or 2 Spells/Traps every turn.
  • Legend (Levels 13-15): Kaiba will prepare 1 or 2 Spells/Traps every turn, but has a higher chance to prepare 2.

The damage inflicted by Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon's attacks depends on its Level. The ATK/DEF of "Vorse Raider" are 1000/300 on Easy difficulty, 1200/300 on Medium, 1400/600 on Hard, 1600/900 on Expert, and 1900/1200 on Legend.

Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon has the following effect, depending on the difficulty:

Difficulty Effect
Easy
(Levels 1-3)
<At the Start of the Battle Phase>
Each of the Raid Boss's three heads will attack the 3 Monster Zones of the player in front of the Raid Boss. Monsters with 1000 or less ATK are destroyed, and if there is no monster, inflict 300 damage to the player. Any of the three heads that are stunned cannot attack.
Medium
(Levels 4-6)
<At the Start of the Battle Phase>
Each of the Raid Boss's three heads will attack the 3 Monster Zones of the player in front of the Raid Boss. Monsters with 1500 or less ATK are destroyed, and if there is no monster, inflict 300 damage to the player. Any of the three heads that are stunned cannot attack.
Hard
(Levels 7-9)
Expert
(Levels 10-12)
<At the Start of the Battle Phase>
Each of the Raid Boss's three heads will attack the 3 Monster Zones of the player in front of the Raid Boss. Monsters with 1800 or less ATK are destroyed, and if there is no monster, inflict 300 damage to the player. Any of the three heads that are stunned cannot attack.
Legend
(Levels 13-15)

Damage to each of Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon's heads is tracked separately; a monster attacking the Raid Boss in the center lane to its left will inflict damage to the left head, a monster in the lane in front of it will inflict damage to its middle head, and a monster in the lane to its right will inflict damage to its right head. Each head will be stunned after a certain amount of damage is dealt to it, increasing depending on the Raid Boss's Level; a stunned head cannot attack, which will reduce the amount of damage dealt by Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon's direct attacks as well as make one monster zone unaffected by Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon's effect. Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon is stunned at the start of the Boss Phase until the start of the next turn after all three of its heads are stunned. Any active objects, shields and Raid Monsters will be destroyed when the Raid Boss is stunned. While stunned, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon will not attack, prepare cards, Summon monsters, or create objects, and will have exposed weak points in all 4 lanes. When the Raid Boss recovers from being stunned, so do all of its heads.

Objects[edit]

Every turn, Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon will create 1 The White Stone of Legend. On Easy through Expert difficulty, The White Stone of Legend will have 2 hit points, while on Legend difficulty, it will have 3 hit points instead.

The White Stone of Legend has the following effect, depending on the difficulty:

Difficulty Effect
Easy
(Levels 1-3)
<In the Boss Phase>
The Raid Boss recovers 500 ATK.
Medium
(Levels 4-6)
<In the Boss Phase>
