- In episode 22, Commander Koda uses this card during his Ground Duel against Akiza Izinski. He Special Summons this card by Tributing three "Rose Tokens". "Black Garden" then halves this card's ATK and Special Summons a Rose Token to Akiza's side of the field. Koda then activates this card's effect to send "Reload" from his hand to the Graveyard and banish "Black Garden". This returns the ATK of all monsters on the field to their original values. Koda then activates this card's effect to send "Mind on Air" from his hand to the Graveyard and banish "Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis". This card then attacks one of Akiza's "Rose Token". The Rose Token is not destroyed, but Akiza still takes Battle Damage. Koda then equips this card with "Destruction Insurance" to insure Akiza would not try to destroy it. He then equips this card with "Lightlow Protection" as a countermeasure towards the effect of Akiza's "Black Rose Dragon". On Akiza's next turn, she activates the second effect of "Black Rose Dragon" to reduce this card's ATK to 0 until the End Phase. The effect of "Lightlow Protection" then activates, destroying "Black Rose Dragon". Akiza then activates "Rose Curse" to inflict damage to Koda equal to the difference between this card's current ATK and its previous ATK (which was 2600), winning her the Duel.
