  • In episode 191, Zigfried von Schroeder uses this card during his Duel against Joey Wheeler. He Special Summons this card via the effect of "Loge's Flame". Since Joey had two Warrior/Dragon-type monsters on his side of the field, this card gained 600 ATK. This card's ATK didn't change after Joey replaced his two monsters with "Maximum Six" and "Red-Eyes B. Dragon". "Maximum Six" (whose ATK was 3100 due to its own effect) then attacks this card, but Zigfried activates this card to decrease its DEF by 1000 in order to prevent its destruction, however Zigfried still takes Battle Damage. "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" then attacks and destroys "Valkyrie Erste". On the final turn of the Duel, Zigfried equips this card with "Enchanted Sword Nothung", increasing its ATK by 400 and banishing "Red-Eyes B. Dragon". This card then lost 300 ATK due to a Warrior/Dragon being removed from the field. Zigfried then activates "Rainbow Bridge Bifrost" to increase this card's ATK by 500 for each of Joey's banished monsters. Since he had five banished monsters, this card gained 2500 ATK. This card then attacks "Maximum Six", but Joey activates "Compensation Mediation" to force Zigfried into setting this card and two Spell/Trap Cards in Zigfried's Graveyard in his Spell & Trap Card Zone. Joey then selects a card, but it turns out to be "Swan Maiden". As a result of this, the effect of "Compensation Mediation" is negated. This card then destroys "Maximum Six", defeating Joey.
  • In episode 195, Zigfried uses this card during his Duel against Seto Kaiba. He Tribute Summons this card by Tributing "Valkyrie Zweite" and "Valkyrie Erste". This card's ATK then became 2100 due to its effect. "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" then attacks this card, but Zigfried decreases this card's DEF by 1000 to prevent its destruction. Later, Zigfried then switches this card to Attack Position. He then equips this card with "Enchanted Sword Nothung", which banishes Kaiba's "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" and increases this card's ATK by 400. This card then lost 300 ATK due to a Dragon being removed from the field. Zigfried then activates "Pegasus Wing" to halve this card's ATK until the End Phase in order to allow it to attack directly this turn. This card then attacks directly, but Kaiba activates "Shrink" to halve this card's ATK until the End Phase. The direct attack continues and damages Kaiba. At the End Phase, the effect of "Pegasus Wing" and "Shrink" expire. On Kaiba's next turn, he activates the effect of "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End" to send all cards in both players' hands and field to the Graveyard. Later Zigfried activates "Final Light" to revive this card while Kaiba uses the effect of "Final Light" to revive "Cave Dragon". This increases this card's ATK to 2100. Zigfried then uses this card to attack and destroy "Cave Dragon". This card's ATK then decreased to 1800. After Kaiba activates "Dimension Fusion" to Special Summon "Luster Dragon #2", "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End" and three copies of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", this card's ATK became 3300. "Luster Dragon #2" then attacks this card. This card then destroys "Luster Dragon #2". This card's ATK then decreased to 3000. Kaiba then uses his "Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End" to attack this card, but Zigfried decreases this card's DEF by 1000 in order to prevent its destruction, so only Kaiba's "Chaos Emperor Dragon" was destroyed. This card's ATK then decreased to 2700. Kaiba then uses one of his "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" to attack this card, but Zigfried decreases this card's DEF by 1000 in order to prevent its destruction, but Zigfried still takes Battle damage. Kaiba then uses his second "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" to attack and destroy this card, since its DEF was now 0.
