OCG Rulings

  • The effect of "Kachi Kochi Dragon" is a Trigger Effect.[1]
  • This effect activates when "Kachi Kochi Dragon" destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard (= at the end of the Damage Step).[1]
  • This effect does not target.[1]
  • Detaching 1 Xyz Material from this card is the cost to activate this effect.[1]
  • This effect cannot be activated if "Kachi Kochi Dragon" battles a monster with the same ATK and both monsters are destroyed.[1]
  • After applying the effect of "Kachi Kochi Dragon", if you attack with another monster before making a second attack with "Kachi Kochi Dragon", "Kachi Kochi Dragon" can no longer make a second attack. (To make a second attack by the effect of "Kachi Kochi Dragon", "Kachi Kochi Dragon" must attack in a row.)[1]

Q&A Rulings

A: After applying the effect of "Kachi Kochi Dragon", even if the effect of "Forbidden Chalice" is applied before "Kachi Kochi Dragon" declares a second attack or during the Damage Step after it declares an attack, "Kachi Kochi Dragon" can still make a second attack.[2]
