- This card can be searched by "Pharaonic Advent", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.
- Use this card against Xyz-based Decks that use effects of monsters like "Goblindbergh", "Kagetokage", "Tour Guide From the Underworld" etc.
- Use this card against Pendulum-based Decks.
- This card can be used effectively in a "Gagaga" Deck, as usually monsters with different levels will be Summoned, and use their effects to successfully Xyz Summon.
- This card can be effective in "Yang Zing" Decks; it will lock most Xyz-based Decks and still allow yourself to Special Summon your monsters, as all of the "Yang Zing" monsters have different Levels.
- This card can be used against a "Burning Abyss" Deck, being majority of the monsters as Level 3.
- Use this card in "Gladiator Beast" Decks since Contact Fusions can be performed with face-down materials. Even though "And the Band Played On" is active on the field, "Gladiator Beast Gyzarus" lets 2 "Gladiator Beast" monsters be Special Summoned from your Deck with the same Level since they are Summoned at the same time.
