- You can trigger this card's effect by tributing it for a Ritual Spell Card, as tributes for Ritual Summoning is an effect, not a cost.
- Run this card in Lightsworns. You'll get its effect through milling it and set up your deck for future mill plays.
- This card works well with Atlanteans, as "Skreech", "Abyss Warrior", and "Abyss Soldier" will trigger this card's effect. Since the effect isn't WATER monster exclusive, cards like "Sealing Ceremony of Suiton", "Spiritual Water Art - Aoi", and "Big Wave Small Wave" can also trigger its effect. "A Legendary Ocean" will lower this card's Level to 3 which allows it to be used for the effects of "Armed Sea Hunter", "Mermaid Archer", and most importantly "Poseidra, the Atlantean Dragon". Most cards for an Atlantean deck will support WATER or Fish, Sea Serpent, and Aqua-types together, so this card will rarely be an issue regarding support. This card allows the ability to set up the next three turns by rearranging the top three cards of your deck, or push those three cards to the bottom to have a better chance of drawing more useful cards such as "Deep Sea Diva" or "Atlantean Dragoons", "Animadorned Archosaur".
