Card Tips:Scrap Dragon

"Scrap Dragon":

Use Call of the Haunted to Special Summon a monster, then use that monster as material to Synchro Summon this card. Then you can target Call of the Haunted with this card's effect without destroying a useful card.
This card can easily be Synchro Summoned with the combination of "Scrap Goblin" and "Scrap Golem" or "Scrap Beast" and "Scrap Chimera".

If this card is destroyed, Special Summon "Scrap Golem" with its effect. Then Special Summon "Scrap Goblin" with "Scrap Golem"'s effect, and Synchro Summon using the two cards for another copy of this card.

When using this card's effect, target a card you control that will activate an effect when destroyed, like "Hysteric Sign", "Geartown", "Abyss-scorn", etc, or that will not be destroyed, like "Mecha Phantom Beast Dracossack", "Stardust Spark Dragon", etc, a card that is useful on the Graveyard, like "Breakthrough Skill", "Steelswarm Scout" or a card like "Safe Zone" linked to an opponent's monster.

If you target your "Black Ptera", you can get back in your hand and use it again.

You can easily use this card's effect each turn in conjunction with "Level Eater" - simply activate its effect, Special Summon it (by decreasing this card's Level), then use this card's effect. Assuming you only have this card for "Level Eater" to target, you can use this tactic up to 4 times.

Another nice use for this effect could be with "Mind Control" or any other card that lets you take control of one of your opponent's monsters. Use it with this card's effect, thus you won't lose any card, while your opponent will lose two.

Use this card's effect on your active "Widespread Dud" to destroy three of your opponent's cards at the cost of one of your own.

You can use this card's effect to destroy your set "Wild Tornado" or "Dark Coffin" to destroy another of your opponent's cards.

This card works very well with "Sacred Phoenix of Nephthys". By using this card's effect to destroy the Phoenix, you will destroy all Spell and Trap cards on the field when it Special Summons itself. Then you can destroy it again with the effect of this card to start the loop over.

In a deck that uses "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon", you can bring this card back to destroy itself and destroy a card.
- If you already had "White Stone of Legend" on the field, you could destroy that to get a "Blue-Eyes White Dragon" to your hand (which could probably be then Special Summoned).

Summon this card easily with "Debris Dragon", "Dandylion" and a Level 1 Monster such as a "Fluff Token". Then, you can destroy one of the "Fluff Tokens" created to use this card's effect (provided that they don't get destroyed by an opponents card).

Use "Dandylion" for this card's destruction effect. This will leave "Fluff Tokens" that can be used next turn.

The best way to use this card is to destroy a chainable Trap like "Dust Tornado" or "Scrapstorm", then use it and still destroy your opponent's card.

This card can be recycled back into your Extra Deck by the effects of either "Scrap Goblin" or "Scrap Beast".

This card works well in a Macro-based deck. Use it to destroy "D.D. Survivor" or "D.D. Scout Plane" (when "Macro Cosmos" or "Dimensional Fissure" is on the field) and an opponent's card. Both of them will be Special Summoned back at the end of the turn.

Use this card's effect every turn with "Treeborn Frog", as long as you do not have Spells or Traps on the field.

If you have this card alongside with "Archfiend Zombie-Skull" and "Zombie World" you can choose any monster on your side of the field and one of your opponent's card. Only your opponent's card will be destroyed since "Archfiend Zombie Skull" will protect your monsters from your this card's effect.

There are many cards with effects that activate in the Graveyard that would benefit from this card destroying them, including "Sangan", "Plaguespreader Zombie" and "Necro Gardna". Summon the monster, use this card's effect to destroy the monster and an opponent's card, then use the destroyed card's effect from the Graveyard.

It also works well with a "Divine Grace - Northwemko" with active targets for its effect.

Use this card in "Crystal Beast" Decks as you can destroy your own "Crystal Beast" monsters to generate a backfield or target your "Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins" while you control a "Crystal Beast" Continuous Spell Cards as it cannot be destroyed.

If you use this card to destroy your opponent's "Elemental HERO Absolute Zero", you can use this card's effect to revive "Scrap Golem" and then Summon a Tuner for either two attacks or to Synchro Summon another "Scrap Dragon" or "Scrap Twin Dragon".

"Magical Citadel of Endymion" is a good card to use with this card as long as it has 1 or more spell counters on it.

Since this effect targets, you can choose to destroy one of your own cards that you intend to use anyway and form a chain, such as "Mystical Space Typhoon", "Phoenix Wing Wind Blast", or even other "Scrap" themed cards like "Scrap Sheen" or "Scrapstorm".

Any "Gusto" deck that also utilize "Shrine of Mist Valley" can utilize this card to its maximum potential. When targeting cards with this card's effect, target either "Gusto Gulldo", "Gusto Falco" or "Gusto Squirro" to destroy one of your opponent's card and also triggering their effects, gaining you another monster. If "Shrine of Mist Valley" also present, you can gain two monsters instead, practically netting you a +2 each time this happens.
- Psycho-Gusto decks can also use this card to destroy not only their "Gusto Gulldo", but also "Serene Psychic Witch" or "Silent Psychic Wizard", triggering their effects as well.
- You can also use "Emergency Teleport" to provide targets for this card's effect and prevent the target's End-Phase-banishment effect, or you can chain this card while this card targets it, and gaining a monster in the process.

"Vylon" decks can also Summon this card with "Summoner Monk" for getting out "Vylon Prism", Synchro Summon this card, and use Prism's effect to equip itself into this card. Afterwards, you can either:
- Use the-now-equipped "Vylon Prism" as targets to destroy a card, or
- Simply use this card's now-3800-ATK for tackling powerful monster such as "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning".
  - This tactic can also be used in Thunder-based decks that utilize "Thunder Sea Horse", "Pahunder" and "Mahunder"

Equip "Blast with Chain" to this card to gain 500 attack, then you can destroy it with Scrap Dragons effect to destroy two cards.

This card works splendidly in a "Yang Zing" deck. Not only do its members provide a strong synchro base to set up this monster's summon, but all of the members (save "Baxia, Brightness of the Yang Zing") have an effect which replaces them when destroyed, making them ideal fodder for "Scrap Dragon's" destruction effect.
