Card Tips talk:Chimeratech Fortress Dragon

According to the 遊戯王カードWiki's page on this card, sending the monster cards to the Graveyard is an activation cost for Special Summoning this card. Thus, tokens, which are removed from play when leaving the field, cannot be used as the cost, though even on the Japanese wiki it's stated that people using this card commonly misunderstand this ruling.
Furthermore, it doesn't count as a being Fusion Summoned, so De-Fusion's second effect of bringing back Fusion Material Monsters does not apply to this card. -Pizzaman 12:32, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Using Tokens to Fusion Summon!?[edit]

Strange, I'm also puzzled why anyone would use tokens for Fusion Material Monsters. Even if "DNA Surgery" is on the field, to change the token's attribute, that does not follow the ruling of Fusion Summon. Japanese, and I agree with you, have seriously misunderstood this rule. Or, it is just that this "Wikia" page has made a flaw in explanation. --002517 11:56, 26 July 2009 (UTC)

WTF[edit]

One thing. This thing should be banned. It simply erases the usability of the entire Machine-type. No way it's fair, you simply clear opponents field and get a beatstick a top of that? WTF? I'm extremely frustrated, since it just fucks up any machine deck... Great idea, "Hey! there's too many types of monsters in this game, let's kill one!". 88.112.162.176 21:16, April 17, 2010 (UTC)

  • If you don't like it, then use it yourself. Nothing quite like having this card with 3000 Attack and then doubling it. And why ban it? Judgment Dragon wasn't banned and it let you steam roll EVERYTHING. --LordGeovanni 07:53, April 18, 2010 (UTC)
