  • This is the third of the three "Helios" monsters ("Helios - The Primordial Sun" < "Helios Duo Megistus" < "Helios Trice Megistus").
    • "Helios" is the name of the primary sun god in Greek mythology.
    • "Megistus" is derived from the Greek word, Megisti, meaning "biggest" or "greatest," hence this monster's larger appearance compared to "Duo Megistus" and "The Primodial Sun".
    • This monster's name is a play on "Hermes Trismegistus", who is said to be the author of the Emerald Tablet, an ancient Alchemical text which was also the inspiration for Amnael's Shadow Charm.
      • The name is also a pun on the cult of Helios Megistus in the ancient Roman Empire, which claimed that all of the elements were ruled by the sun god.
  • This is the only "Helios" monster to not have its bustline edited for its TCG release.
