  • This monster is based on the concept of the id, one of the three distinct parts of the psyche according to Sigmund Freud, which is the basic inherent part of the human mind that drives the most savage instincts.
    • These characteristics can be seen in how this monster has the "instinct" to survive by Special Summoning itself from the Graveyard after being destroyed by a card effect and "savagely" destroying all other monsters the player controls.
    • This monster resembles the "monster from the id" from the 1956 sci-fi movie, Forbidden Planet, in which a man's subconscious whims manifest as a huge, invisible monster which becomes temporarily visible when passing through an electrified forcefield. The monster from the id is known for being indestructible and returning at night, which is similar to this monster's effect to Special Summon itself from the Graveyard.
  • In the original Japanese version of the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime, this monster's attack name is "Violent Egotism", which is based on the ego, one of the three distinct parts of the psyche which serves as a mediate between the id's aggressive desires and the superego's moral constraints.
