Snake Whistle is not as good as it seems as it cannot activate when your Reptiles are destroyed by battle. Also, I think it would be best to focus entirely on Aliens - so no Rise of the Snake Diety, Vennominon or Vennominaga. --Gadjiltron 11:55, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

On the contrary, Gadjiltron; surely Snake Whistle, saying when your Reptile is "destroyed", means both as a result of battle and by a card effect. That's what I always read it as, because it does not specify the means of how it is destroyed...

Oh and, I like this deck. It makes good use of some of the strangest cards around, even though they are weak. Shocktroopers aren't essential as they lack an "Alien" effect, but Warriors are definitely worth it. If you want to focus more on the "A" Counter side of the Aliens, then I suggest more than one Corruption Cell "A", and also Flying Saucer Musiik'i is useful, despite it being 5 stars. If you can get it out early on (for example, you might want to put in Ultimate Offering), then you have a way of controlling your draws. The only downside with an Alien deck is that there's no point in the "A" Counters unless you've got some way of attacking, and with the weak ATK of most of them, it's tough. Cosmic Horrors are decent, and work well when paired with Brainwashing Beam or Mass Hypnosis, but Alien Mother is better, and actually worth its tribute. You'll need to keep control of the field, and if you're thinking of keeping the "space" theme, you could even put in a Grand Mole, just for laughs ^^. I'm no deck doctor, so I dunno if my advice is any good, but oh well ^^. This is a fun deck type to play with, so just mess around and you might come across something great! i used to have a reptile deck containing venom monsters and alien monsters but then found it hard to just use on set at a time so made a venom deck and a seperat alien deck so you should just use alien cards but use more than one copy of some cards if nececerry

first let me tell you, i am running an alien deck, not as my main deck but as a casual play deck beacuse i love to see those strange creatures taking control of the field, you can take some ideas about the deck that i have:

monsters: alien mother x2, gangiel x2, shocktrooper x3, alien grey x3 alien telepaht x3, alien warrior x3, alien hypno x2, alien skull x1, interplanetary invader A x1.

spells: A cell breding device x2, A cell scatter burst x2, corruption cell A x2, swords of revealing light, MST, monster reborn, creature swap, heavy storm, brain control.

Traps: brainwashing beamx1, crop circles x2, offering to de snake deity x3, detonator circle A x1.


To me it would be very helpfull, if we could have a level 4 alien monster who could place an A counter once per turn. what do you think?.

my alien deck...

well my alien deck isn't complete but this is what i am planning. i like the whole alien deck thing just alien cards. since alien cards depend on "a" counters to use most of their support cards like brainwashing beam, i suggest to put these cards in.

Alien Infiltrator x1

    Believe it or not he actually won a tournament for me!

Alien Mars x1

    His effect is kind off good, it deflected Destiny Hero-Dogmas Effect.You can add 1 more if u want.

Alien Psychic x2

    This alien can defend other cards like cosmic horror gangi'el's effect.

Alien Telepath x1

    I suggest 1 because its a strong alien card and the effect takes an "a" counter to destroy spell\trap.

Alien Hipno x1

    Another strong alien with a good effect.

Alien Shocktrooper x3

    The strongest level 4 alien monster!!!

Alien Grey x2

    I prefer 2 or 3 of these because its the only "a" counter giver alien.

Alien Skull x1

    His effect is barely used but strong defense.

Alien Hunter x1

    Alien Hunter has a good effect so if u have "a" counters he is pretty useful.

Alien Warrior x2

    This alien is powerful and if he gets destroyed, he leaves something for the enemy.some "a" counters

Alien Mother x2

    A strong effect for a strong deck.

Cosmic Horror Gangi'el x2

    U are going to need this for some "a" counters.

Flying Saucer Muusiki x2

    This is an alien delivery saucer.

Interplanetary Invader "a" x1

    Strong effect.
                     Spells and Traps

Corruption Cell "a" x2

    This is called a free "a" counter.

"A" Cell Scatter Burst x2

    Real good effect.

"A" Cell Breeding Device x2

   Get at lest 2 in an alien deck.

Otherworld The "A" Zone x2

   Get at least 2 of these.

Orbital Bombardment x2

   Its good for useless aliens like Grey after its affect

Brainwashing Beam x2

   This can be handy.

Mass Hypnosis x2

   Read the top.

Crop Circles x1

   Worth having at least one.
               Tips

Enemys don't loose atk and def unless aliens say that.But for every alien that does the loose 300 points for every a counter onthem times the number of aliens that say that. Also aliens have great technology so its okay if u want to add cards like sakuretso armor x2, trap hole x1 metalsilver armor x1 magic cylinder x1, mystical space typhoon, and others.
